A Tradition of Art & Music in Anchorage

The Turnagain Arts Building, located at 4105 Turnagain Boulevard East, has a rich tradition of providing studios and common areas for the arts, music, and other individuals and small businesses with the entrepreneurial spirit. While the building is used mainly by teachers and creators of the arts and music, the areas available are suitable for any venture including administrative offices, art studios, and other businesses.

Lease rates vary based on the location, square footage, and other amenities. At the Turnagain Arts Building even offers "sound studios" that are partially sound proofed rooms with access to a spacious , furnished and comfortable waiting and reception area.

Available space ranges from as little as 75 square feet to areas that encompass over 1,000 square feet. Some available features include a recital hall that seats up to 50 guests, a modern kitchen area with stove, dishwasher, refrigerators, microwave, coffee makers, and many other provisions for day to day cooking and cleaning or for special event preparation areas. Some suites boast private entrances and all have ample parking with lots to accommodate nay function. Finally, the three reception and waiting areas mean that your students or clients will always have a relaxing and enjoyable experience while waiting for your services.

Turnagain Community Arts Alliance

TCAA is a non-profit association of artists and instructors committed to the encouragement of a thriving arts community in Alaska, and supports that commitment by providing a network of support of artists and arts educators, and providing lifelong learning opportunities for children and adults. TCAA believes access to arts opportunities for artists, educators, students and the general public enhances quality of life.

Individuals and businesses are invited for membership based on a commitment to excellence in music, arts and education. TCAA provides members with a list of all members and releases a yearly publication featuring member services and is available to the public. Members are also entitled to early notification and registration for all TCAA-sponsored events.
